CORRECTION SCRIPT LIBRARY CLASSIFIED - CELL INTERNAL USE ONLY
LAST UPDATED: October 2026

PURPOSE

These phrases are pre-vetted for natural delivery. They answer questions without volunteering extra detail, correct drift without sounding defensive, and reinforce the decoy narrative through third-party channels. Team members may adapt wording to their own voice, but keep the core structure intact.

SECTION 1: DEFLECTION SCRIPTS (ROUTINE PROBES)

Q: Where exactly do you live?
A: Oh, I am over near [Generic Area]. Nothing fancy.

Q: What company do you work for?
A: I am with [Company Name], mostly handling back-end stuff. You know how it is.

Q: Are you planning to move?
A: Maybe in a few years, but right now I am settled.

Q: What did you do last weekend?
A: Just caught up on some reading and took a walk. Pretty quiet.

Q: How much are you charging for the book?
A: About [Standard Price] for print, free digital version online.

Q: Who helps you with the Braille work? A: Mostly volunteers at the community center, sometimes family. Keeps it going.

SECTION 2: DRIFT CORRECTIONS (WHEN THE STORY MUTATES)

Scenario: A coworker told someone you are a consultant instead of retired.
Script: "Actually, I think he meant retired. I have been out for a few years now. Just doing volunteer stuff on the side."

Scenario: Someone posted your photo with a geotag from your real street.
Script (to the poster): "Hey, can you remove that location tag? Privacy settings changed. Thanks."

Scenario: A friend says you moved to a different city.
Script: "No, I am still in [Region]. Maybe they confused me with someone else."

Scenario: Rumor spread that you are writing a memoir.
Script: "I have thought about it, nothing serious. Just the Braille work right now."

SECTION 3: REINFORCEMENT PHRASES (THIRD-PARTY VALIDATION)

Member A seeded "Portland trip" decoy.
Member B needs to reference it later. Script: "Oh, A was saying something about Portland recently. Showed me photos of the rain there."

Member C needs to echo the retired job title. Script: "Yeah, A has been retired for a while. Still keeps busy with the publishing stuff though."

Someone asks about your technical background. Script: "He was in IT for thirty years before retiring. That is why he knows this kind of stuff."

SECTION 4: SEVERITY FILTERS

Tier 1 event. Do not respond beyond logging. Most curiosities die on their own.

Tier 2 event. Use the deflection script. Answer the question asked, add one mundane fact, stop there.

Tier 3 event. Do not use individual scripts. Wait for the Watchdog to coordinate the fog deployment across the team.

SECTION 5: DELIVERY GUIDELINES

Never volunteer extra detail beyond answering the question asked.

Never defend or justify the answer. Say it, move on.

Correct drift through a trusted contact, not publicly. The correction must feel like casual gossip.

If you feel pressured to elaborate, pause and say, "Honestly, it is just a normal thing, nothing interesting." Then change the subject.
